Services & Fees

Valley Mental Health and Wellness, the practice of Suzanne M. Ward, PMHNP, is a private pay practice and does not participate in any insurance programs at this time. The practice does not bill insurance companies directly. Patients may choose to independently seek reimbursement from their insurance plan, Health Savings Plan, or other community resources. However, the practice itself does not process insurance claims or accept insurance payments. All fees are paid directly by cash, check, or select cash apps.

Overview of services and fees

Initial psychiatric evaluation

A thorough assessment to identify and understand mental health concerns and develop a plan for treatment.

$250.00 per 60-minute appointment

Psychiatric medication management

Prescribing and monitoring medications proven effective for treating a variety of mental health conditions.

$150.00 per 30-minute appointment

Counseling

Individual psychotherapy, family therapy, behavior modification, education, and coaching to help develop coping strategies, manage stress, work through emotional difficulties, and promote overall wellness.

$100.00 per 30-minute appointment

Care management / Family contact

Coordinating care and resources for mental health & wellness through advocacy, support, and follow-up. Includes collaboration with family, support system, and treatment providers.

$20.00 per 15 minutes, or for any contact greater than 10 minutes if additional action is required

Crisis intervention / Crisis appointment

An immediate, unscheduled intervention and/or appointment to provide support and assistance to established clients experiencing acute distress or mental health emergency, within the limits noted in the emergency policy.

$200.00 per 30 minutes

Administrative requests

Tasks that require formal communication or documentation to external parties that fall outside the scope of regular business collaboration — such as completion of formal letters or forms, care summaries, and medical records requests.

$20.00 per 15 minutes
